Experience: 2 years of Labor and Delivery with post-partum experience required.
License: Valid nursing license preferred.
Certifications: BLS, NRP required.

Must-Have:
Sterile vaginal exam experience required.
Experience in the use of external fetal monitoring.
Experience in internal fetal monitoring.
Experience in intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) placement and calibration.
Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
Experience administering Pitocin (oxytocin).
Experience managing/administering epidural anesthesia.

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team.
RNs will work in both labor and postpartum settings.
The average daily census includes 8 deliveries and 15 postpartum patients.
First-time travelers are accepted for this role.
RNs will be required to work every other weekend.
On-call hours are not required, and floating to meet facility needs may occur.
Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Local candidates are not accepted beyond a specified radius.
Pending licenses will be accepted.
Requests for time off should ideally not exceed 5 days.
Candidates should expect that canceled shifts may occur without penalty.
Completion of orientation, which lasts 8 hours, is mandatory.
RNs will be required to complete pre-start modules prior to beginning the position.
All pre-start modules are recorded and require completion before starting work.
