Travel Nurse RN – Labor/Delivery – $2,020 per week in Monroe, LA

Description:
The RN will work in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
The unit requires experience in vaginal deliveries, cesarian sections, and related patient diagnoses.
Common patient conditions include pre-eclampsia, hypertension, prolapsed cord, abruption, diabetes, and gestational diabetes.
The RN will perform special procedures such as D&C, tubal ligation, amniocentesis, and epidurals.
The position involves lateral floating to sister units.
The RN should expect to be on call for 12 hours every 2 weeks.
The weekend requirement involves 2-4 weekend shifts per month, which can be grouped.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.
Scrubs are provided for this position.
References from previous managers or supervisors will be required for contract clearance.
Candidates must be prepared to obtain any missing certifications before starting.
NURSYS reports for RNs must be sent with the candidate’s profile and must be up to date.
Resources who previously worked with the organization must be separated for one full year prior to returning as a traveler.
Orientation will be held for 8 hours with no billing associated.
