Certifications:
– NRP
– BLS
– ACLS
– EFM-C or AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Must-Have:
– Ability to care for both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients
– Ability to circulate during a C-section

Job Description:
– Care for both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients.
– Circulate during C-section procedures.
– Utilize the GE fetal monitor system effectively.
– Maintain strong patient experience skills, ensuring exceptional care.
– Perform typical procedures such as cerclages, versions, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&Cs, epidurals, and care for fetal demise.
– Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and doulas.
– Provide care for unblocked/unepiduralized patients.
– Demonstrate strong teamwork, cheerful demeanor, and collaborative spirit.
– Exhibit strong leadership skills on the unit.
– Experience in mom/baby, couplet care is preferred.

Additional Information:
– The unit consists of 16 beds and a staff of 40.
– Night shift staffing includes 5 RNs (1 charge), 1 scrub tech.
– Patient ratios are typically 1:2, but can fluctuate with acuity.
– The unit fosters a collaborative and supportive environment with a focus on exceptional patient experiences.
