Description:
We are looking for motivated, experienced labor and delivery travelers who want to work in a team-based unit.
Responsibilities include Labor (Vaginal), C-Sections, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension, and D&C.
The patient population includes Neonates/Infants and Adults.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1-2, with an average daily census of 15.
The unit has 16 L&D beds and a 6-bed L&D Triage.
Scrub color will be provided by the facility.
Maximum 7 days of requested time off is allowed.
Nurses must be willing to float within the facility.
On-call requirements for AM and PM shifts include 2 calls every 6 weeks.
Working during holidays is expected depending on the assignment period.
Full compliance is required to start on time; if non-compliant, starting may be delayed by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Candidates must be available to complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.
Orientation includes 13 non-billable hours that are completed through modules specific to the specialty.
Modules are recorded via transcripts.
