Description:
The position requires performing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
The RN will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
The role involves maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
The RN will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments is also essential.
It is crucial to maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
This position demands significant time spent standing and walking, as well as bending and stooping.
The RN will be required to lift and turn patients with assistance as needed.
The role may involve working different schedules or shifts based on patient care requirements.
There is a high risk of exposure to blood and body fluids in this role.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., and pinching up to 15 lbs.
The RN will perform duties and responsibilities consistent with established nursing practices and guidelines.
