Job Summary and Qualifications
Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for the Stem Cell Transplant and hematologic disorders patients.
EDUCATION:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care experience. Looking for someone that has acute care Oncology, TCT, or ICU experience * Highly Prefer candidates with Recent Acute Care Experience working within a “Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Blood and Marrow transplant program
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
- If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)

- Why is the position open? This is for a new TCT Unit that will launch on November 1st2024
- How long has it been open? 1 month
- How many FTEs? 0.9
- How does your interview process work? Recruiter Phone Screen, Interview with Director and hiring team, and peer interview
- Is the first call with the HR or hiring manager? First call with recruiter, then WebEx if candidate is not local. If they are, interview will be onsite.
- Phone call / zoom /onsite ? Onsite for local candidates. WebEx for candidates that aren’t local
- Who has final say on hiring? The Panel team discusses and comes to agreement together
