Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join for a 13-week contract. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced critical care setting. Ideal candidates must be flexible, team-oriented, and skilled in managing critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting data to identify changes and respond accordingly
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
Required Qualifications:
• Active RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 3×12 hour night shifts
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• EMR experience preferred
