Travel CCU float RN is needed for a hospital in Indiana. Critical Care Services Pod (ICU, CVR, PCU, 2N, 3N). ICU-Intensive Care Unit. ICU has two units with eight beds each. The ICU specializes in the ICU level patient with an emphasis on pulmonary, neurology, neurosurgery, sepsis, and trauma. CVR-Cardiovascular Recovery. CVR is a fourteen bed unit. CVR is an acuity adaptable unit (ICU and PCU level of care) with an emphasis on post-open heart surgery, vascular surgery, and STEMI care. PCU-Progressive Care Unit. PCU is an eighteen bed unit. PCU is an intermediate level of care unit with emphasis on chronic disease management and intermediate care needs such as congestive heart failure, ESRD, COPD, atrial fibrillation, pneumonia, and acute hypertension. 2N-Medical/Progressive Care Renal Unit. 2N is a nine bed unit. 2N cares for medical and progressive care patients with an emphasis on renal disease. 3N-Receiving and Recovery. 3N is an eighteen bed unit. 3N provides pre and post care for interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedure patients. This include bedside moderate sedation procedures for transesophageal echo and cardioversion. IN license is required. BLS and ACLS are required. Shifts are 7p to 7a, with every other weekend.
