Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience:
Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.).
ICU experience with adult populations required.
Must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.
Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center.
Successfully completed travel assignments of 13 weeks.
Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are submitting to.

License:
Traveler must have a valid nursing license.

Certifications:
BLS and ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association.
Telemetry travelers must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
Traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Must-Have:
Flexibility to work evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours of 19:00-07:30.
Participation in a Magnet-certified and Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
Support and engagement in Shared Governance.
Travelers must reside 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location.
Floating is required, with shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on staffing needs.
All travelers will rotate weekends and some holidays.

Travelers must maintain active telemetry competency throughout their assignment.
Orientation is typically about one week and will occur biweekly.
