Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for critically ill patients in the MICU, specializing in oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, and other severe conditions.

Administer mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).

Monitor and manage hemodynamically unstable patients with arterial pressure monitoring, central venous catheters, and cardiac monitoring.

Administer chemotherapy, complex medications, and manage clinical trials and plasmapheresis procedures.

Assist with bronchoscopy and endoscopy procedures for patients with underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

NIH Stroke Scale Certification (required within the first 30 days of employment)
Skills:
-
Proficiency in ventilator management, IV starts, and critical care nursing.

Experience in handling oncologic emergencies and providing care in a high-acuity environment.

Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, central venous catheters, and mechanical ventilation.
Computerized Charting:

EPIC EMR system experience is required.
