Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
License: Must have a valid state RN license
Certifications: ACLS & BLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have: Recent ICU experience in a hospital setting

Job Description:

– Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process according to the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures.
– Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.
– Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
– Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
– Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
– Be willing to float to Tele/LTAC based on census requirements.
– May be required to float to the main campus.
