Description:
Must have experience in Cardiac ICU.
Preferred experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.
Facility floor specializes in ICU, MICU, and CCU.
Number of beds in unit: 24.
Patient ratios are typically 2:1; rarely 3:1 for a short period.
Unit equipment includes SWAN, IMPELLA, IABP, ARTIC SUN, ZOLL IVTM, EKOS, CADD, IV PLUM Pumps, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Prismax.
Uses EMR system: Cerner.
Work involves handling medical and cardiac ICU patients.
Ideal personality traits include being humble, energetic, compassionate, adaptable, a team player, and willing to be a resource to other nurses.
Dress code requires Galaxy Blue scrub tops/bottoms/jackets, with optional black scrub bottoms.
Orientation includes required knowledge modules.
