Job Description:

– Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process according to Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
– Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.
– Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
– Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.
– Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
– Possibility of floating to other units, including Louisville Jewish.
– Must include certifications in submission through the specified method.
