Description:
This is a Neuro unit.
The role requires the ability to manage patients with strokes and complex post-operative surgical cases.
Additional patient care may include respiratory distress and COVID-related conditions.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1.
Charting is done using Cerner.
Scrub color will be specified on-site.
Weekend work is required every other weekend.
Floating to areas within the skill set may be required.
The unit supports critical care and special procedures.
An EVD rate plan is in place.
