Two years of RN experience preferred (willing to train the right person)
Requires sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Requires bending, crouching or kneeling. Requires use of hands, keyboarding, and fine motor skills, lifting up to twenty pounds
Occasionally moving objects up to 100 pounds
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care
Must be flexible and cool under pressure
Must be able to balance compassion with their own self-care
Is able to de-escalate difficult situations with verbal de-escalation techniques and or nonverbal methods
Able to work as a team, able to recognize the scope of the team members’ roles and responsibilities able communicate and collaborate effectively, collaborate with external team members, such as first responders
Excellent communication ensuring a seamless transfer of care
Our Emergency Department (ED) is looking for a skilled hardworking dedicated RN to join our team!
The ED is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days a year by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, as well as highly skilled emergency care nursing staff.
We are a Level IV Trauma Center providing emergency care for patients of all ages, with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries.
