Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room specialty
License: Registered Nurse
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, Conscious Sedation Certification
Must-Have:
– Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
– Willingness to float to other departments
– Ability to rotate through multiple areas such as Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit
Description:
Our Emergency Department consists of multiple specialized areas including a Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit.
All nurses are expected to rotate through each of these areas regularly.
In addition, nurses are assigned to tasks such as Triage, Quick Registration, and Entry Screening.
Nurses can expect to be assigned a different area at a minimum daily and may be rotated during their shift depending on patient volume and unit needs.
Assignments may include assisting with testing and immunization clinics as needed.
Flexibility is essential as schedules and shifts may change to accommodate staffing needs.
Travelers may occasionally float to other qualified departments to assist with patient loads or perform task-oriented duties like answering call lights and phones.
Orientation takes place on Mondays only.
