Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room/Trauma Level 1 experience required, recent within the past year
License: Valid nursing license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATCN or equivalent
Must-Have:
– 2 years minimum ER/Trauma Level 1 experience required
– Must be flexible to work varying start times and all shifts listed
– Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, with a maximum of 2 attempts
– Must complete a simulation lab on the first day of orientation
– Must be willing to float between assigned locations
Description:
The position requires experience in an Emergency Room setting.
Travelers will work flexible shifts with varying start times.
Shifts include both day and night options.
The unit has 60 beds, with a focus on bedside triage.
Common diagnoses include trauma, motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and stroke patients.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:3-4.
The facility has a dedicated response team available 24/7.
Pharmacy support is also available around the clock.
Weekend shifts will be a minimum of 4 shifts per schedule.
Nurses will assist with IV starts, patient discharges, and various technical duties.
All necessary certifications must be current and maintained.
