Must-Have:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department
– Experience working with high acuity patients
– Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems

Description:
This position involves working in a large and busy Emergency Department.
The unit sees a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
The acuity level is high, with an average daily census of 165-175 patients.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
The role requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend.
If assigned, the traveler must work major holidays as outlined in the policy.
Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
No RTO requests will be accepted for major holidays occurring during the assignment.
Compliance is required to start on time, with all necessary documents submitted promptly.
Complete orientation will be 13 hours, and modules will be included during this time.
Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary labs soon after signing the contract.
Local candidates are accepted with the same requirements as travelers.
