Job Description:
– Join a fast-paced emergency department with a dynamic team.
– The unit features 52 beds with a staff of 134 to ensure quality patient care.
– Night shift staffing includes one charge nurse, four nurses, one tech, one unit clerk, one physician, and one midlevel provider per pod.
– Typical patient ratios are 3:1 on average and 5:1 for low acuity cases.
– The unit uses Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system.
– Candidates with TNCC and Meditech experience are preferred.
– Typical procedures performed include IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care.
– The unit focuses on enhancing the patient experience and requires staff who can keep up with a fast-paced environment.
– The team is diverse and values quick learners who can independently manage their responsibilities.
– Staff are expected to scan patients and medications during every interaction.
– The department values experience from large facilities and considers candidates’ ability to work in a high-paced ER setting.
