Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
The unit has a total of 28 beds with a staff of 43 members.
Night shift patient ratios are 4:1 for ED patients.
Patients on hold have a ratio of 6:1.
The unit is equipped with Level 1 transfuser, ventilators, and EMR.
The typical hiring profile includes candidates who are team players.
Candidates should work well with others and be coachable.
A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing patient-centered care are essential.
Preferred candidates may have experience in previous health systems.
Typical procedures performed include conscious sedations and hanging critical medications.
Weekends are required with every other weekend on a 12-hour shift.
No on-call duties are required for this position.
