Knowledge and practice with basic endoscopy procedures.
Competency in assisting surgeons during procedures.

Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy.
The unit is responsible for a variety of procedures, including colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, PEG tube placements, EGD, and ERCP.
The unit has two beds and a team consisting of a supervisor, three RNs, and an Endo tech.
Staffing includes both day and night shifts, with night shifts being on-call only.
Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1.
The equipment used includes endoscopes, endo towers, and additional specialized tools.
The working environment is a collaborative team that values dedication and hard work.
Candidates should possess a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
Call is required on weekdays and weekends, as there are no scheduled cases during the weekends.
Preferred qualifications include experience with advanced endoscopy procedures.
Suitable candidates will demonstrate autonomy and a strong team player attitude.
Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
