Travel Nurse RN – CVOR – $3,416 per week in Falls Church, VA

Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Scrub and Circulate

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** 8 hours, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week

**Experience:** 3 to 5 years recent SCRUB and CIRCULATING nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases

**License:** Current RN License

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) required through the American Heart Association, CNOR preferred

**Must-Have:**
– Ability to scrub and circulate in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
– Proficiency in managing cases such as coronary artery bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR & MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VADs. Experience with adult patients required; pediatric experience is a plus
– Capacity to multitask and apply critical thinking skills effectively
– Excellent communication skills and ability to function as a team player
– Willingness to participate in professional activities of the department

**Job Description:**
– Provide support and expertise in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
– Participate in numerous ongoing research protocols
– Flexibility with shift expectations including 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM shifts
– Conform to weekend schedule as necessitated by the department
– Adapt to floating expectations within scope
– Manage on-call duties, including 8 to 10 shifts per 6-week schedule and approximately 1 weekend per month
– Participate in holiday rotations based on department need
– Requires access to Epic systems for job performance
