Description:
Floating policy requires contracted staff to float to other units and/or campuses as needed due to census concerns.
Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies.
Orientation will consist of 16 hours, which is considered non-billable.
All agency staff must adhere to the requirements during their assignments.
Call requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
Modules are required to be completed prior to the start of the contract and within a specified time frame.
Modules are billable, and reimbursement for hours spent on them is available.
Experience with electronic medical record systems is necessary, with a minimum of 1 year required.
Orientation and training must be completed to ensure readiness for the position.
All requests for time off must be submitted as required.
This position will require floating between units based on staffing needs.
