Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), DCI/BVP

Must-Have: Proven experience working in a surgical setting, specifically open-heart procedures

Job Description:
– Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room environment.
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
– Prepare, maintain, and operate medical instruments or equipment.
– Ensure sterile procedures are followed and surgical field is maintained during procedures.
– Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support.
– Adhere to all protocols, standards, and regulations to ensure patient safety and care quality.
– Participate in continuous education to remain current with best practices and advancements in CVOR nursing.
