Description:
Position available for a Registered Nurse in the CVOR specialty.
Cardiac call is required.
Candidates must have 2 years of direct CVOR experience.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of submission.
NIHSS certification is required before the start date.
Cardiac call is part of the position, with a minimum of 6 calls per month.
Shifts may vary depending on staffing needs.
Candidates are expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Experience in the Cardiac OR is required, including the ability to set up and start call.
Additional cases may be managed if no CVOR cases are scheduled.
Travelers must prioritize time-sensitive modules upon confirmation.
All requests for time off must be included upfront with submission.
Candidates will be required to submit a negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine testing.
The facility has a strict policy regarding nicotine use.
Two references from a direct supervisor or manager within the last 18 months are required.
Travelers must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts for each.
Failure to pass will lead to cancellation of the assignment.
Orientation is 16 hours and is non-billable.
All policies must be adhered to throughout the assignment.
