Description:

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgery with a specialty in cardiovascular preoperative care.

Shifts are from 06:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday.

Candidates must be experienced as first-time travelers are not eligible.

The role involves large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessments, and assisting with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.

Responsibilities include transporting patients to the operating room and assisting with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin preparation.

Applicants must have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

A background in preoperative experience is desirable.

Strong communication skills with an interdepartmental team are essential.

The facility is equipped with advanced technology like GECarescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound.

Documentation in the Cerner system will be required.

The position involves staying late 1-2 times per week, with scheduling flexibility encouraged.

A professional uniform will be provided as part of the dress code.
