Travel Nurse RN – CVICU – $2,500 to $2,516 per week in Madison, WI

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized intensive care to post-operative cardiac/thoracic surgical patients, including transplant recipients.

• Operate and manage advanced technologies such as the NextStage CVVH machine.

• Apply advanced telemetry and arrhythmia interpretation skills to monitor and manage patients.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

• Participate in every other weekend rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled.

  Requirements:

  Experience:

  • Required:

    • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience within the last 3 years

    • Experience operating NextStage CVVH machine

    • Basic arrhythmia and telemetry interpretation skills

  • Preferred:

    • Experience in cardiothoracic surgery or acuity adaptable units

  Licensure & Certification:

  • Active WI RN License or Compact State License

  • BLS and ACLS – must be certified through the American Heart Association only

  • Must pass telemetry test before start date
