Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU.
The role is focused on high-acuity cardiac patients.
The nurse will participate in open heart recovery and manage complex cases.
The unit has a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.
The equipment used includes CRRT, IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, and VADs.
Expect a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and adaptability.
Individuals must demonstrate a positive and uplifting attitude.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Floating to other ICU units may be necessary.
Experience with ECMO, CRRT, IABPs, Impella, VADs, and heart and lung transplant is preferred.
