Description:
This position involves working in a high-acuity CVICU setting.
The unit has 17 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.
Equipment utilized includes CRRT, IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, and VADs.
Experience with ECMO, CRRT, IABPs, Impella, VADs, and heart/lung transplant is preferred.
The ideal candidate understands the demands of a high-acuity environment and possesses a positive and uplifting attitude.
The facility provides surgical scrubs for staff.
This role requires floating to other ICU units as needed.
The patient population primarily consists of cardiac patients.
