– RN must have 2+ years of open-heart experience.
– Recent EPIC experience is required and must be included in the resume.
– CVICU Skills checklist is required upon submission.
– Ability to float as needed.
– Scrub color: solid black.

Description:

This position is for a cardiac open-heart, cardiac thoracic, and vascular unit.

The unit consists of 26 beds.

Ratios are usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3.

Candidates must be independent in obtaining labs and initiating IVs.

Only block schedules on weekends are accepted.

Candidates must be available Friday night through Monday night for block scheduling.

Requests for time off are due at the time of submission.

Only 7 days maximum of requests for time off will be accepted.

Candidates submitted with more than 7 days of requests for time off will be automatically rejected.

BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited school of professional nursing.
