Unit Capacity: 6 Beds Population Served: Patients with the following diagnosis Cardiac Surgery/Myocardial Infarction/Congestive Heart Failure/Cardiogenic Shock/Cardiomyopathy/Arrhythmias/S/P Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 – 60+)

Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2

Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs) and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)

An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
