Management of invasive lines, including arterial lines and PA catheters
Transvenous pacemaker experience

Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
This unit comprises 14 private rooms, with two designated as negative pressure rooms.
Patient types include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and thoracic surgery.
Common procedures include CABG, valve surgery, and aortic dissection.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.
A charge nurse may have or may not have patient assignments.
The department offers support from an IV/VAT team and a respiratory therapy team available 24/7.
An intensivist is also present on-site 24/7.
The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
IV pumps, medication dispensing, and monitoring are managed with designated equipment.
Staff may be required to float to different facilities as needed, remaining within the scope of practice.
Weekend rotations will occur every other week.
Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.
Time off requests will be approved for up to 6 days, excluding holidays.
Shifts are scheduled every 6 weeks.
Scrub color is navy.
