License: Registered Nurse (RN) License

Certifications: Must have relevant certifications

Must-Have:
– 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty
– Ventilator experience
– Art/Central line and chest tube management skills

Job Description:
– Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
– Collaborate with a team of 45 staff members
– Maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
– Utilize equipment such as GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
– Use Meditech for electronic medical records
– Perform procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tubes
– Work collaboratively as a team player to provide the best patient care
– Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU when required
– Wear royal blue scrubs
– Work two weekend shifts biweekly without on-call responsibilities

Preferred or Nice to Have:
– CVICU-specific experience
– CABG recovery experience
– CRRT and Impella experience
– Experience with Meditech
– BSN and CCRN certification preferred
