Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our cardiovascular team. The Cath Lab RN plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions by assisting during catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker implantations, and other interventional procedures. The nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care throughout the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and education.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals and ECGs throughout the procedure.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper equipment functioning and availability.
• Monitor patients in the recovery phase and provide post-procedure care instructions.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and perform interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
