Travel Nurse RN – Cath Lab – $3,000 to $3,200 per week in Austin, TX

Job Description

Job Duties:

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient’s condition to physician before, during and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

Unit Description:

Level 1 Trauma Center with 2 labs and 1 hybrid OR Department manages multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Cardiovascular, Vascular) – experience with multiple modalities is preferred.
Must be able to respond in 30 minutes during call shift.

Comments:

The cath lab only has 1 FT RN and 2 PRNs to staff 2 labs and a hybrid OR.
