Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Cardiac Cath Lab

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** AM 10 hrs, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 15 days of on-call duty including 2 weekends every 6-week schedule

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** RN License

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** Procedure Moderate Sedation Experience

**Job Description:**

– Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
– Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to assess and monitor patient condition.
– Administer medications, including moderate sedation, and monitor patient response.
– Prepare and maintain sterile conditions in the cath lab environment.
– Assist in the insertion and removal of devices used during procedures.
– Ensure proper operation and handling of medical equipment.
– Participate in on-call rotations as required.
– Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
– Uphold high standards of patient care and safety.
