Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Cath Lab

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (07:30 – 16:00)

Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 36-40 hours per week depending on shift length

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License: Valid State License required; license in hand preferred

Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required

Must-Have:
– Conscious Sedation and Telemetry experience
– Experience with CV Lab, PVD Lab, and serving adult and geriatric patients

Job Description:
– Perform duties as a Cath Lab RN with 0730 or 0830 start times; 8-hour shifts
– Handle an average daily census of 10-20 cases across four labs, with 12 visits per day
– Accept first-time candidates with a minimum of 5 years of CV Lab experience
– Manage rotating call every 3rd weekend; on-call required for 1-2 shifts per week
– Float within scope to meet facility needs, including between different campuses if required
– Candidate should be familiar with special procedures such as right heart cath, left heart cath, valve studies, PFO/ASD closures, PCI, plasty, FFR, TAVR, LAAO, and PE thrombectomy
– Operate special equipment including Inari, Impella, EKOS, balloon pumps, ECMO, laser, CSI, and rota-bladder
– Work in an acute care teaching hospital, which is a Level 2 Trauma Center with 258 staffed beds
– Utilize Epic (Excellian) for charting
– Complete pre-start modules; all onsite modules are billable

Candidates should be prepared for a comprehensive compliance process, including fingerprinting and other requirements prior to the start date. Ensure any vacation plans during the period between the sign date and start date are communicated early.
