Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, Telemetry

Must-Have: Must be able to function as an intra-procedural RN responsible for documentation, administration of medications, and circulator of minimally invasive procedures such as LHC and PCI.

Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients’ needs.
Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs and the physician’s medical diagnosis.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manages the care of patients.
Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Critical care experience is highly preferred.
Prior experience with electronic health records systems is highly preferred.
On-call is required, with rotation varying depending on staffing and unit needs.
