Job Description:
– Work in a team-focused cardiac cath lab with six labs, including four cath/structural and two EP labs.
– Engage with a diverse team consisting of Radiology Techs, Registered Nurses, Schedulers, and Surgical Aides working 4-day shifts of 10 hours each.
– Maintain a patient ratio of 3-4 staff per patient, ensuring high-quality care and operating state-of-the-art equipment including GE/Philips x-ray, Maclab/Cardiolab, and Merge systems.
– Undertake various procedures such as LHC, peripheral angiograms, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, Watchman/Amulet, TAVRs, Mitral Clip procedures, EP studies, and ablations.
– Possess basic EP knowledge, which will be considered favorable for potential candidates.
– Display flexibility with assignments and exhibit the ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
– Be available for on-call duties, averaging eight days per month, including one weekend, and be prepared for late days if cases extend beyond scheduled hours.
– Follow dress code and attire guidelines with scrubs provided by the facility’s scrub machine.
Note: Candidates should prepare for a collaborative environment where floating between cath lab and EP is common.
