Description:
This is a contract position for an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
On-call requirements are included.
The unit consists of three cardiac cath labs, one electrophysiology lab, and one hybrid lab.
There is a total of one charge RN, three clinical RNs, and three cardiovascular technicians on staff.
The patient ratio is 1:1.
The type of equipment used includes EMR Meditech.
Typical procedures performed in this unit include cardiac diagnostics, PCI, Impella procedures, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies.
Other procedures may include the use of Impella, IABP, thrombectomy, and implants.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set and experience in cardiology.
Candidates with these skills will be prioritized in the selection process.
Dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
