Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse – Cardiology

**Shift:** 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** To be discussed with the employer.

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Active RN license

**Certifications:** Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

**Must-Have:** Strong communication and critical thinking skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Description:**

– Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on their specific needs.
– Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
– Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans.
– Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures.
– Educate patients and their families about managing illnesses or injuries.
– Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
– Participate in department meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during challenging times.
– Document patient care services accurately and timely in accordance with local and national guidelines.
– Stay current with advances in cardiology nursing practices and principles.
