Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
- Current and Unrestricted Arizona RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- Valid CPI Blue Card – Current certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) with Advanced Physical Skills
- Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with mental health conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient responses to medications and treatment interventions, reporting any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and provide input on patient care strategies
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and healthcare standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Any other duties as assigned
