Travel Nurse RN – $1,550 to $2,180 per week in Tulsa, OK

Job Description

This department is a 28 unit, serving the general surgical adult population and does have telemetry capability. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6

Job Duties:

1. Provides direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. 
2. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
3. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
4. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
5. Assesses and coordinates patients’ discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work:
6. Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
7. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
8. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
