Travel LPN / LVN – Long-Term Care in Huntersville, NC

Job Description

  Department Information:

o   Beds: 90

o   Minimum Years of Experience required? 18 months in SNF/LTC Rehab facility

o   Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred

●        Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

o   Short-term and Long-term services offered to patients recovering from an illness, injury or accident

o   Stroke, Amputation, Neurological Disorders, s/p Joint Replacement, etc

o   No Memory Care

●        Patient Ratios: 

o   LPN: 1:18-20 Days; 1:26 Nights

●        Skills required:

o   Previous Long-Term Care exp to include: Trach management (refresher provided during orientation), foley care, wound experience, dressing changes, IV starts/management, tube feedings

 Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, 

o   Rehab Region – Cleveland Pines, Huntersville Oaks, Jesse Helms, Sardis Oaks, and Stanly Manor

o   If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
