Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC) for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The LPN will provide skilled nursing care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and support the overall well-being of residents in long-term care settings. This role requires compassion, patience, and strong clinical skills to ensure high-quality care for elderly and chronically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
- Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition.
- Document patient care and progress accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and update care plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
- Travel to various long-term care facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- License: Active LPN license in the state of assignment or compact license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
