Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide services at a facility in Joliet, Illinois. The ideal candidates will collaborate with other care team members to provide nursing care to patients while ensuring adherence to standards of care and practice.

Requirements:

  • Active IL License

  • BLS

  • Proficiency in Point Click Care electronic charting preferred

  • Covid Vaccination




Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients within the scope of licensure.

  • Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and regulations.

  • Follow through with established treatment plans.

  • Maintain reports of patients€™ medical histories and monitor changes in their condition.

  • Adhere with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations of the facility in order to maintain complete medical records.

  • Maintain hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures.

  • Promote health and wellness and help improve the quality of life for patients.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
