Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81506
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Travel Pay Rate: $1900 weekly ($16.50/hr on w2 + $1240/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate: $40 per hour on w2
Start Date: 06/16/2025
Job Type: 13-week Contract

Position Summary:
- Provides nursing care to client consistent with physician orders, established care plan, client choice and regulations.
- Accountable for observation of the client and documentation regarding observations/care given.
- Updates client’s field chart and medication sheets when changes occur as a result of communications with other members of the team and/or care provided.
- Coordinates client’s care with physician, family, members of the interdisciplinary team and other involved agencies.
- Updates client/caregivers/supervising RN on progress, equipment needs and health needs and obtains and processes physician orders when appropriate.
- Provides teaching and instruction to clients’/caregivers to promote physical and emotional health.
- Maintains clients’ self-esteem, privacy and confidentiality of personal information.
- Assures client rights are protected and that all clients/caregivers are made aware of the client’s rights and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complies within accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of The Nursing Practice Act, as set forth by the American Nurses Association and by the State Board of Nursing in the State of Colorado.
- Accepts responsibility for personal and professional accountability for own practice, including maintenance of required credentials.
- Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates effective problem solving and time management skills.
- Performs duties independently, or without supervision.
- Presents a positive image of the agency.
- Demonstrates attitude of caring when dealing with clients, families, and staff.
- Complies with timely, accurate, and appropriate documentation of care and communications pertaining to patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- LPN CO License, BLS from (AHA)
