Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide private nursing services to multiple schools in the State of Maryland.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland license
• BLS/ACLS Certification
• Nursing Degree

Responsibilities:

• Provide care as per the student’s health care plan. Medical cases may include catheterization, diabetes, tracheostomy and ventilator dependency, pulse oximeter monitoring, seizure disorder, and G-tube feeding.
• Medication administration and management
• Observe for adverse reactions or lack of response to medication
• Collaborate with the student’s primary physician regarding all medical/mental health services
• Obtain medical orders and maintain copies for the school health record
• Maintain appropriate documentation for each assigned student
• Keep the school nurse/principal apprised of student’s needs and status
