Job Description
Registered Nurse/Emergency Room:
Duration:13 Weeks
Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Description:
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) provides immediate care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. They perform rapid assessments, administer medications, and assist in emergency procedures. The nurse monitors vital signs and responds quickly to changes in patient conditions. They collaborate with the medical team to stabilize and treat patients efficiently.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
• Oncology experience is preferred, but not required
• EPIC experience is required!!
Certifications:
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Skills Required:
• Proficient in IV starts
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
Patient Ratio:
• Ratio of 1:4
