Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit provides specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to less intensive monitoring. They conduct continuous assessments, administer medications, and manage advanced medical equipment. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, they develop and implement care plans to ensure optimal patient recovery. Their role bridges the gap between critical and general care, ensuring patients receive appropriate attention during recovery.
